It is after a gap of 20 years that I climbed this hill of Monte de Guirim. The students, class rooms brought back those childhood memories, as 10 plus years of my schooling years just flashed back into my mind. The first day of my schooling is just a fade picture in my mind but when I made my child sit on that tiny desk in the class I remembered those days when I started. It was Fr. Desmond the headmaster, Miss Almira, Maria, Miss Sheila, Miss Elsa Zuzart, Miss Dora Franco, Miss Agnes Miss Jama who had pacified me and made me sit there quietly and those few early days of my KG std. And then on it was fun attending the class. All those past memories and many more flashed in my mind today as I was standing out of the class peeping from the window as my child in every thirty seconds tried to make sure I am there outside waiting for him. Although those cries and yelling of the children filled the environment I saw the same enthusiasm in the new teachers there in showing their love and affection to the little wards who are terrified not to see their parents inside the class. I saw Miss Almira talking to the parents outside. Many of the ex students like me who have brought their children felt the same we say “Its really feeling GOOD to start schooling again with our children at St Anthony’s H.S after all this years.
